Servants Of Jesus Clusters

Vision for Cluster

1. To provide a place to come together as a body and pray, a spiritual oasis that will permeate the Community at large. To reflect the Glory of God so that others are attracted.
2. To share a common life, as much as is practically possible, and to move on in God together.
3. To corporately be a solid witness through our actions and lifestyle so that God "adds to our numbers" and more importantly to His Kingdom.
4. To provide a safe place for children to grow up in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour.
5. To live as close as possible to one another so as to provide support, both practically and spiritually, to one another in our common walk.

The following is a short testimony of someone who has been deeply touched by Cluster:

"When I first came to a knowledge of Jesus Christ it was through "Cluster". I became aware of the reality of Jesus in my life, not through a mystical or spiritual awareness of God, but through the many people who were without knowing, doing what is written in 2 Corinthians 3:16-18:

"But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

Whilst I can't say that they were necessarily trying to reflect the Lord's Glory, it was so easy to see God's work in their lives, and together amidst the numerous who were living a common Christian walk, the Lord revealed himself to me. I didn't know that it was this that attracted me to Community life until much later. My spirit simply thirsted for what these people had. These people were a living witness to what Jesus can do when people are prepared to take the chance of living humbly for their God. In all honesty, in the world I had so much more going for me, but in the spiritual I had nothing in comparison. All I knew was that I had to get a hold of what they had. And so I did!"
