Greetings from Uganda

My name is Daniel Mirabella from Our Lady of the Mission Parish, Perth WA. The situation as you would expect is pretty sad.  The poverty is very high and the orphanage is in great need of financial support as community resources have already been stretched thin.
SOJ sent financial help recently (2009).

Limuru, Kenya        

Limuru Children’s Centre thanks you for the clothes, blankets & medicine.
Thanks also for the money for the water tanks and to construct buildings.
Thanks to the Community for the money to buy food & fuel for some elderly people.
Thanks for the money to pay a small salary to some teachers at a school in Kenya.
SOJ continues to send money to Kenya.

Papua New Guinea

Thanks to Servants of Jesus for hosting us for World Youth Day 08.
Thanks to Chris and the Trojan team that come every year to visit us and to minister to us.  Our love to them and thank you for your prayers.
SOJ continues to support a Catholic worker in PNG and to visit them.
