Dear brothers and sisters

Across the globe people are falling away from God, that includes our own beloved Australia. We believe the Lord is calling us now to a season of supplication to the Holy Spirit. As that song says “Come Holy Spirit come and do what only You can do.”

At the same time, there is a move of the Holy Spirit happening as we are see new people coming to the Lord.

The Book of Hebrews warns us about the dangers of falling away and how easily this can happen to us personally if we are not vigilant. The most important thing we can do is to keep our eyes on Jesus and continue to love one another.

Hebrews 13:1 says “No matter what, make room in your heart to love every believer. And show hospitality to strangers, for they may be angels from God showing up as your guests. Identify with those who are in prison as though you were there suffering with them; and those who are mistreated as if you could feel their pain.”

While it’s true that in the complexity of life not everything is easy to discern or interpret and not everything is ‘clear cut’, loving God and the brethren are not negotiable and, according to our faith, we should strive to make every possible decision to do so.

In the light of all this, I urge you brothers and sisters “Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.” (Hebrews 12:2)

God bless you and your families

Community Care Project
SOLAR WATER PUMPING PROJECT. UGANDA.

Phillip Leslie installed a Solar Water Pump for Fred Mawanda. This was done through donations to Community Care. He recently received an email from Fred which he shares here....

"Fred Mawanda sent me a report on the results of the solar water pumping project that is being funded through Community Care . It makes very encouraging reading .
The results have been very good as the report will show and as my own ongoing/regular communications with Fred will also testify. The funding to Fred has been very well managed and this is proven by the results. They are doing a very good job over there .
The funds that they receive from CC are having a multiplying effect ."

Here is Fred Mawanda's report:

Results of the Solar Water Pumping Project.

October 2021

Thank you to Community Care in Australia for the Solar Water Pump initiative.

Progress to date :

The solar water pumping project has been going very well . Three complete and tested pumping stations were sent to Fred Mawanda in south western Uganda to assist with food production by increasing water reliability. The equipment was built in Australia and sent to Uganda from donations provided through Community Care Australia. The project is receiving ongoing support to build the pump stations, run the pipework, employ technical consultants etc and would not be possible without financial support from Community Care Australia.

To date one pumping station (Well 1) is now fully operational and second pumping station (well 3) is half way through construction. The third solar pumping station waiting on the farm expanding before it is implemented (near well number 2).

The project is ongoing as donated funds are sent as needed by Fred to pay for such thing as bricks for the pump house, specialized labour to install the equipment and install piping

However even though the project is not completed, the results to date have been very promising as the donated funds have been allocated very well at the source of need.

HEALING TESTIMONY

Thank you for an amazing conference once again.

I would like to thank and praise God for a few things that have happened to me over the last couple of weeks and during the course of the conference.

  1. I watched a YouTube video about a man who had died and spent time in heaven. His message was that he was told “Don’t look back, don’t look back”.
  2. That same Sunday morning, Joe gave a talk on the names of Jesus. The one that struck me was “Jesus is the Jubilee”. Jesus of the Jubilee wipes the slate clean – don’t look back to the past.
  3. In the days after that, I started to declare that Jesus is the Jubilee whenever I found myself looking back at the past, feeling sorry for myself, regrets in life etc.
  4. At work, we were given a ....challenge & put in teams which were going to total their number of steps/kilometres per week. As an older member of the team, I decided to get up earlier before work than I usually do and fit in as many steps as I could so that I wouldn’t let the younger ones in my team down. This was an opportune time to extend my morning prayer time .....and to proclaim .... scripture proclamation cards as I walked and got my steps up!
  5. SHS Conference Healing Session – I responded to a few words – lower back pain effecting sitting and work (I have had to sit on a specially shaped cushion for over 3 years/ chronic pain/ seen Chiropractor/ Doctor etc)/ knee pain and oesophagus – reflux and difficulty swallowing some foods. I felt a warmth in my lower back and the pain has been reduced. I have been proclaiming Psalm 107. Praise you, Jesus, Thank you, Lord!!!!!
  6. Sunday Gathering - Joe & Julie – the fire! Deliverance from jealousy which has bound me for a long time ......... and received the gift of perseverance (to stay the course).
  7. I have a deeper awareness that the Holy Spirit lives in me. I felt God say that jealousy had to go to make way for his Holy Spirit.
  8. I have a lot of peace and a renewed hunger for God and a deep desire to live a life of holiness.
  9. God brought together a number of circumstances to wrought this change in me but my encouragement to everyone is to just carry out the basics. As John Arnott said, it is as easy as reaching up and picking fruit from a tree but we need to make the move and God will take care of the rest.
  10. I have just attended the Zoom Healing Rooms and felt the love of God wrap around me and the warm oil, the presence of the Holy Spirit, as I was ministered to by two very beautiful sisters in the Lord – such love and such peace – Thank you Jesus!!

“Glory be to him whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we ask or imagine” (Eph 3:20)
